Margarita Gutiérrez

Educator with more than 42-year-experience in intercultural curricular building and alternative educational innovation in coastal and Quechua areas in the Southern Andes, Perú, emphasizing on the protection of immaterial cultural heritage. She specializes in resignifying continuing training and systematizing educational projects and innovations to incorporate the radio medium in public schools with a territorial approach. She has wide experience in creating intercultural printed and audiovisual materials for the community. She manages, documents and assesses intercultural educational projects, alternating from local and governmental levels to community-based organizations, indigenous leaders and networks of teacher-peer learning. She coordinated the Institutional Program Radio with Andean Children for 13 years. Today she is a pedagogical advisor and member of the Pukllasunchis Association Management Team and General Coordination.
